The platform aims to focus on key areas such as deep-ground exploration, deep-sea exploration and deep-space exploration, carry out research and development and application of drilling equipment technology, and focus on improving the original innovation and key technology research capabilities of deep exploration equipment.
In recent years, the Institute of Exploration Technology has attached great importance to the scientific and technological self-reliance of geological drilling, and has made overall plans for the construction of scientific and technological innovation platforms, focusing on the scientific research directions of directional drilling technology and instruments, large-diameter rock and soil drilling technology and equipment, automatic and intelligent drilling technology and equipment, and deep core drilling technology and equipment, etc., and has accumulated 8 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological innovation platforms, including the Directional Drilling Engineering Technology Innovation Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Large-diameter Geotechnical Drilling Technology Innovation Center of Hebei Province, the Directional Drilling Engineering Technology Innovation Base of the Geological Society of China, the Automation and Intelligent Drilling Equipment Innovation Base of the Geological Society of China, the Directional Drilling Technology Innovation Center of the China Geological Survey, the Deep Exploration Drilling Equipment Technology Innovation Center of the China Geological Survey, and the Geological Drilling Science Popularization Base of Langfang, Hebei Province, the scientific and technological innovation platform system of geological drilling technology and equipment has been basically constructed.
In the next step, the Exploration Technology Institute will aim to build and strengthen various scientific and technological innovation platforms, give full play to the supporting and leading role of key technology research, engineering research and development, engineering application demonstration, and achievement transfer and transformation, and aim at and serve national and local needs.
